WORKLIFE Matter #0003

Updated: Jan 10, 2024

  1. Organizing the room every day is actually organizing the heart. Amidst the chaos of the day, the process of tidying up gradually brings relaxation and calmness.

  2. Anxiety is a mentality that arises from overestimating the importance of things.

  3. Jealousy is like a knife, either ending up stabbing others or plunging into one's own heart.

  4. Some people often say, "Don't read so many books." Some who don't read books fare better than those who do. This is the argument that reading is useless. However, in today's society, a large proportion of successful individuals are still avid readers. Therefore, the importance of reading should be emphasized.

  5. There's always that moment that breaks your heart. The relationships you desperately maintain are nothing more than a game in the eyes of others. The achievements you strive for become someone else's spoils. People are so complex, and emotions are so fragile. How much pain must you endure to gradually become strong?

  6. Anton Chekhov said, "Being cultured is not about not spilling soup while eating, but rather not looking at someone when they spill it." In life, everyone has their own brightness and difficulties. Often, what we need is silent support that doesn't expose or mention the challenges.

  7. We cannot control our fate, but we can control our mindset. We cannot change others, but we can change ourselves.

  8. Being lazy and indulgent might lead to vastly different destinies simply because of a different appearance, like a panda and a pig: one is pampered, the other is stabbed!

  9. Poverty is not an original sin, but it is the heaviest shackle, locking up the recklessness of youth and imprisoning lofty ideals. The only thing that can overcome it is a persistent longing for the future.

  10. Why is kindness not cherished by people? That's just how people are. Low-value things don't receive prolonged attention and love. People always love the process of "seeking." The harder to obtain, the more it stimulates the desire for victory; the more readily available, the more it is ignored.
